Congratulations on winning the Silver Award for Brand Brilliance. Can you share a brief overview of REAL PhD and how the brand has evolved?

Thank you to the judging panel for this recognition.

REAL PhD is a specialist brand dedicated to one-stop overseas PhD application services. Guided by our philosophy, “Supporting Your PhD Dream, Every Step of the Way,” we provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary and full-cycle doctoral application solutions.

We pioneered the “1+1+5-to-1” customised service model, covering every stage of the journey. From university and supervisor selection, research proposal development and interview preparation, to scholarship applications and visa support.

Since the establishment of our headquarters in the early 2000s, we have spent over two decades focusing exclusively on doctoral applications. Today, our service network spans the UK, Australia, the US, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, China and Macao, China, supporting English-medium doctoral programmes globally. We now cover seven major academic disciplines and more than 500 PhD specialisations, having supported tens of thousands of students in securing placements at leading institutions.

In recent years, we have also received recognition from respected platforms such as China National Radio, Forbes China, and Hurun. Recognising different backgrounds and requirements, we offer modular options. From single-component guidance to comprehensive full-process services, allowing students to tailor their level of support.

Additionally, drawing upon over two decades of application data, we have developed an intelligent matching system that enhances supervisor and institutional alignment.

Our services now span seven academic fields and over 500 specialisations across global destinations, ensuring both geographic and disciplinary flexibility.

How do you ensure integrity and transparency across markets?

Integrity is foundational to our identity.

We ensure trust and transparency through open information practices, like presenting accurate and objective institutional data, supervisor resources, and case studies; standardised processes, such as, clearly defined service stages and deliverables, with real-time progress visibility for students; and ongoing ethics training, like ensuring all consultants and academic mentors align with unified professional standards.

We believe long-term trust can only be sustained through sincerity, clarity, and consistent professionalism.

How have scholar sessions and workshops strengthened your brand presence?

Our public academic initiatives, such as “Top University Series” and “PhD Forum”, serve as bridges between students and leading scholars.

How does team development support brand consistency?

How do you translate brand promise into real outcomes?

This systematic approach strengthens both admission rates and scholarship success.

What challenges have you faced maintaining brand consistency globally?

Two primary challenges are adapting to regional academic cultures and application systems and maintaining unified service standards as we expand.

Our dual headquarters structure (China–UK) supports coordination and minimises information gaps, while cross-regional meetings ensure consistent brand messaging.
