International Brilliance Awards™ Re-Accredited with Awards Trust Mark – Outstanding

The International Brilliance Awards™ are proud to announce their successful re-accreditation with the Awards Trust Mark – Outstanding, the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Independent Awards Standards Council (IASC).

The International Brilliance Awards™ first achieved Outstanding accreditation in 2019 and have now completed a fresh independent assessment in 2026, reaffirming the programme’s commitment to fairness, transparency, independent judging and responsible awards management.

The Highest Standard in Awards Accreditation

The Awards Trust Mark was established to help organisations identify awards programmes that operate according to recognised standards of ethics, transparency and professionalism.

Outstanding represents its highest accreditation tier. Achieving this status requires awards programmes to undergo independent assessment of their processes and demonstrate that the standards they commit to are reflected in how the programme operates in practice.

What Outstanding Accreditation Means in Practice

As part of the accreditation process, the International Brilliance Awards™ were assessed against 18 specific criteria covering the way the programme is managed and how entries are evaluated.

These standards include:

  • Judges operating independently and without commercial conflicts of interest.
  • Entries being judged blind and evaluated on merit rather than brand reputation or company size.
  • Entry fees and associated costs being clearly disclosed before submission.
  • Entry forms being available to review before payment is required.
  • Winners being publicly announced following the awards ceremony.
  • Written feedback being available to entrants upon request.
  • Judges signing legally binding non-disclosure agreements to protect confidential entry information.
  • Attendance at the awards ceremony not being a requirement for winning.

Together, these requirements help ensure that recognition through the International Brilliance Awards™ is based on the quality, evidence and impact of the work submitted.

A Commitment to Independent Recognition

Since 2014, the International Brilliance Awards™ have built an international community of organisations, teams and professionals recognised for outstanding achievement.

More than 1,200 organisations across 32+ countries have been recognised through the programme, with entries assessed through a 100% independent blind judging process.

The successful 2026 re-accreditation provides further independent confirmation that the standards behind that recognition continue to be maintained.

For entrants, finalists, winners, judges and partners, the Awards Trust Mark – Outstanding provides additional confidence that the programme they participate in is independently assessed and committed to recognised standards of fairness, transparency and integrity.
