DHL Global Forwarding: Fostering Employee Wellbeing on a Global Scale

Winner of the Brilliance in Employee Wellbeing Award, 2025

At the 2025 International Brilliance Awards, DHL Global Forwarding’s commitment to employee wellbeing stood out. Head of HR Europe, Alex Schneider, reflects on the achievement and the power of wellbeing to unite teams globally.

Winning the Brilliance in Employee Wellbeing Award is a proud moment for DHL Global Forwarding (DGF). This recognition validates our commitment to fostering a supportive and positive work environment where our employees feel valued, motivated, and well-cared for. The DGFF Wellbeing Cup initiative was designed to enhance various aspects of employee wellbeing, including mental, physical, and emotional health, work-life balance, and overall job satisfaction. Receiving this award highlights the success of our team’s efforts and the positive impact on our workforce.

The Brilliance Award is not only a testament to the meticulous planning and organisation behind the DGFF Wellbeing Cup, but also to the participation and excitement of our employees. With over 8,000 colleagues from more than 100 countries engaging in the initiative, we have seen remarkable improvements in our collective wellbeing. The initiative has also helped us align with our sustainability goals, avoiding approximately 629,937.52 kilograms of CO2 emissions.

This recognition motivates us to keep innovating and striving for excellence in creating a healthier, more engaged and more productive workforce. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the DGFF Wellbeing Cup.
